Brock University, Arnie Lowenberger Residence

At aTRR, we designed the Arnie Lowenberger Residence to meet the growing demand for on-campus housing, responding to Brock University’s Master Plan goal of enhancing campus urban design by expanding the number and quality of its public spaces. Named in honour of Arnie Lowenberger, the project offers a mix of dormitory-style rooms and shared amenities that foster student connection and campus life.

Situated at the entrance to Brock University, the four-storey, 312-bed residence contains a mix of single and double dormitory-style rooms as well as a dining hall, full-service kitchen and student and faculty offices. The design interconnects alternate floors, at study/lounge locations, providing a greater opportunity for student interaction.

This project was developed in association with Teeple Architects Inc.
