The recently opened Peter B. Moore Advanced Technology Centre at Georgian College’s Barrie Campus can now connect 1,800 students with dynamic engineering and research labs, technology-intensive classrooms, and change-maker environments that embody Georgian’s contagious energy. Contemporary creative space for Design and Visual Arts students, adds a major gallery which serves as a cultural focus supporting both campus and community-wide events. The design, by architects Tillmann Ruth Robinson in association with Teeple Architects, also integrates space to encourage new economic networks that leverage existing partnerships while encouraging new industry connections within local businesses.
